re: are we?

```بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم```
Assalamualaikum, kebelakangan ini asma giat memblog.
Kenapakah agaknya? Hoho, senang, kerana asma asyik fail exam.
Release tension kat blog.
Hmm.. Dalam entry lepas, asma ada mention satu Sahabat ni, and ada org x tahu kisah Sahabah terkenal Saad As-Sawadis Sulubi.. asma rasa dia sbnrnya tahu kisah nye mcm mane, cume x ingat nama sahabat ni je. Baiklah2, mari asma ceritakan..
Saad ni seorg yg hidup zaman Rasulullah.
Waktu tu Rasulullah dah hijrah ke Madinah.
He had no status in the eyes of ppl, no money, no position, dan die berkulit gelap. Tp dia sgt la beriman.
Tp suatu hari dia runsing tentang sesuatu dan dia pun berjumpa Rasulullah. Dia risau kalau2 dia takkan masuk syurga.
Kata Saad: O Rasulullah, if I embraced, will I go to Jannah too?
Rasulullah bersabda: Yes.
Then Saad asked: Then what will be my status in Jannah?
Rasulullah answered: Same as Umar, Abu Bakar and the rest of Sahabah.
Then Saad asked: Then why is it nobody is willing to give me their daughter's hand in marriage?
Rasulullah turned to the other Sahabah around him. "Is Umar ibnu Wahab here?"
The rest answered "No."
Rasulullah told Saad: Saad, go to Umar's house and tell him I've requested you to have his daughter's hand in marriage.
[Now, you may wonder who is Umar ibnu Wahab? He was one of the leaders of Madinah, and his daughter was known for her beauty]
So Saad went and knocked on Umar's door.
After Umar opened the door, Saad explained what the Prophet had requested.
Umar then said: You? With my daughter? Don't you know I'm Umar? Don't you know my daughter? On you back.
And His daughter was listening to this. She said: O father, wait wait. This is the Prophet's request. Where will we be if we turn it down?
She then turned to Saad and said: O Saad, go back to the Prophet and tell him that I'm ready to marry you.
<--------------------------------------------------------------------->
And the nikah was performed on 400 dirhams.
Saad said: Massenger of Allah! 400 dirhams? I've never seen 400 dirhams in my life.
The Prophet said: Go to Ali, Uthman and Abdul Rahman bin Auf, ask them for 200 dirhams each.
And on he went, and each of them gave him more than 200 dirhams.
He was elated. Before he goes home to his wife, he thought of his new beautiful wife and wanted to give her presents. He went to the market place and was choosing something.
Suddenly, there was a call: YA KHAILULLAHI IRKABI, YA KHAILULLAHI IRKABI, BIL JANNATIL ABSYIRI!
It was a call for Jihad.
Saad stood there and looked at the sky. He said: Lord of the Heavens and the Earth, I would buy that which is pleasing to thee.
And he bought a sword and a horse. He went into the battle line where they were gathering troops. He covered his face because he knew if Rasulullah saw him, he will be told to go back to his new wife.
And the Sahabah were discussing amongst themselves: Who is this mysterious man? He's covering his face, can't see him, don't know who he is.
Ali was there and he said to the Sahabah: He's come here to fight, leave him be.
When the battle started, Saad went into the battlefield bravely. But his was horse was struck and he fell off his horse. He stood up and pulled up his sleeves a little. (like how you would do before washing your dishes)
The Prophet saw his dark complexion and said: O Saad! Is that you??
Saad turned to the Prophet after a while and said: May my mother and my father be sacrifice for you Massenger of Allah, it is I, Saad. (it was a way the Arabic say, "yes, you caught me red-handed")
Rasulullah said: There is no reward for you but Jannah.
Saad was so happy and he jumped back on his horse and went into the center of the field.
After a while there was a call: USIBUS SAAD! USIBUS SAAD!
Saad died in his Syahid.
When Prophet heard it, he ran into the battle field to search for Saad's body. He took Saad's head and placed it on his thigh. Tears were flowing from the cheek of Rasulullah and unto the face of Saad.
After a while, he began to smile. And then he turned away.
The Sahabah asked him: O Prophet, we saw you do something today that we've never seen you do before. You cried, you smiled and then you turned away.
Rasulullah said: I cried upon the departure of my beloved companion, but when I saw that he has ascended and reached the HAUTH, I smiled.
Then the Sahabah asked: What is the HAUTH, O Massenger?
The Prophet answered: It is the water fountain which was given to me during the event of my ascending from Earth. The water was sweeter than honey and whiter than milk. And whoever drinks it will never be thirsty again.
And they asked him again: What about this turning around?
The Prophet answered: I saw his wives in Jannah running towards him, and they were running with so much eagerness that the shins were being unveiled so I looked away.
He then continued and told the Sahabah: This is his horse and this is his sword. Take it to his wife. And tell her these are what he had left behind and inform her that Allah has given him women in Jannah more beautiful than her.
This is a story about a man, who, a couple of hours before he died, he didn't even know because of his status in society whether he will enter Jannah. Such is a person who may be little in society but heavy in the scale of Allah.
Hmm.. I don't know why it suddenly became an English entry, I remember starting out with Malay. Oh, well.
